Visit the Bobby Guy Memorial Studio In Battle Creek

On a recent trip to Battle Creek, I stopped to pay tribute to my boss and mentor, Bobby Guy.

Bobby, once worked in a small studio, rumored to be a broom closet. I had to check it out myself, so I made the trip to Battle Creek.It is a very small room with less then two feet between the wall and the desk. In fact, special guests needed to sign the walls to appease the "Radio Gods" to even be allowed out of the studio. Here is what I found.

After seeing this, I now have a new understanding and respect for Bobby. The studio is currently not in use but stands as a backup to be used in a moments notice should one of the sister stations need it.
