A crowd gathered out back of Cowboy Up in Mendon on August 1 to "hillbilly it up" and enjoy a day of great Country music.

Nine-year-old Aubrey Rowecamp opened the show with the national anthem and a sassy karaoke performance of Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart."

Ann Arbor's KayLyn Pace was next. It was my first time seeing her and she was fantastic!

The Erika Scherry Band rocked Kalamazoo crowds in 2014 at Ribfest and did not disappoint at Cow Jam. Many of our Kalamazoo Country V.I.P.'s were very impressed.

American Idol alumnus Bucky Covington took the stage with his hit "A Different World." Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds" soon followed along with favorites by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Pink Floyd(!).

Steve Holy and Darryl Worley closed out the night, adding another year of memories to the cornfield in Mendon known for one day a year as "Cow Jam."
