From 1955-1981 the "King of Rock & Roll" put 40 songs on the Billboard Country Charts.  31 of those made the Top 10 and 11 songs went all the way to #1.

Remembering Elvis with his very first song to chart anywhere; it peaked at #5 on the Country chart in 1955.
