NASCAR veteran David Stremme will race Kalamazoo Speedway in June, ahead of Kyle Busch's August start in the Kalamazoo Klash.

Kalamazoo Speedway is no stranger to big names as NASCAR drivers Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Ken Schrader and Johnny Benson Jr. have all turned laps on the fastest 3/8 mile track in the world. David Stremme will make his first Southwest Michigan appearance on June 14 for the "Gary Terry Follow Your Dreams 125."

Stremme raced with Gary Terry as the pair were beginning their careers before Terry was tragically killed in 2015.

He was always one of the friendliest guys at the track, he would help out anyone.  I remember Gary giving up his ride to a local guy, so that guy could go and win the track championship.  He was one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met.

He now spends his time operating a race shop in Moorseville, North Carolina and this will be David Stremme's only appearance on a paved track in 2017 to honor the memory of his friend.
