Kalamazoo's biggest auto racing event, the Kalamazoo Klash, has again drawn the attention of NASCAR driver Kyle Busch. Busch was here in 2014 and will return in 2017 to run 2 events: the ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Model portion and the Outlaw Super Late Model feature according to Kalamazoo Speedway.

Matt Kenseth, Ken Schrader, Johnny Benson Jr. and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Matt Crafton are all former Klash drivers. Marking its 25th year, the Kalamazoo Klash is scheduled for August 9 at Kalamazoo Speedway and usually sells out early. Kyle Busch trackside experience packages including dinner and your chance to add a Kyle Busch autograph and selfie to your collection are priced at $100 with grandstand ticket sales beginning in April.

Kalamazoo Speedway will run the first lap of the 2017 season on April 28, 2017.
