God help me, I'm seeing "Pitch Perfect" tonight.

First, let me say that I don't mind romantic comedies and have willfully watched the occasional "chick flick." I've also read 7 Jane Greene novels and a couple of Helen Fielding's Bridget Jones books. My entertainment options are not limited to testosterone-fueled misogynistic fantasies...

...but...

Pitch Perfect?

A friend from out of town loves Alamo Drafthouse and we were talking about sing-a-longs. She remarked that she would love to see Pitch Perfect. As fate would have it, it is playing tonight.

I'm going to be a man of my word and see the movie, hoping to come out still a man.

Rotten Tomatoes calls it "a movie my mom would enjoy."

How bad can it be?

I'll let you know Thursday morning.
