The Belle Isle Zoo was permanently closed in 2002, Take a look at what remains of this Detroit Landmark in this unique video. 

The Belle Isle zoo is situated on an island between Detroit and Canada and opened in 1895 making it Detroit's first zoo. Then, in 1947, the Belle Isle Zoo was downsized to a children’s zoo. Finally closing for good in 2002.
