Men from all walks of life strutted their stuff at Lakeview Square Mall on Saturday (Oct. 22) to raise money and awareness to fight domestic violence.

"Domestic violence is not a women's issue" declared S.A.F.E. Place Executive Director Jessica Edel Harrison, One in three women are affected by domestic violence in some form, but it is men who are the perpetrators. The idea is to engage male allies to aid in awareness and promote prevention.

Following opening remarks, thank you's and a harrowing survivor's story, the men supporting Walk A Mile in Her Shoes did just that, tottering on their terrifying 1 3/4" heels, circling the mall twice. Enjoy the photo gallery and consider joining us next year to support S.A.F.E. Place.
