Kenny Chesney doesn't like the way women are being objectified in Country music so he did something about it.

No doubt, by now you've heard the term "Bro-Country" and know that the main complaint is that women are just hanging around those songs for decoration.

Maddie & Tae fired the first shot in retaliation and now Kenny Chesney is taking a stand for women.

"It's about telling some girl out there who's got dreams, who's smart and interesting, that she has a chance.  She's worthy.  She doesn't have to be this one thing that's been sung about over and over again recently."

That's Kenny telling Radio.com about his new song "Wild Child", a duet with Grace Potter from the new album Big Revival.

Not only is "Bro Country" a hot topic, domestic violence in the NFL has also put the spotlight on women's issues.

Sure, Kenny Chesney can write songs but what can you do?

You can join me at Walk A Mile in Her Shoes this Saturday and stand up for the women in your life.
