Country-rockers Tucker Beathard and Ryan Hurd are teaming up this June to co-headline the first-annual Wrecking Ball 2017 concert. Set for June 7, the pair will perform at Nashville's 3rd and Lindsley following the CMT Awards.

Tickets for the show go on sale on May 5 at 10AM CT via the concert venue's website.

Both Beathard and Hurd are known for heating up festival stages, as well as the writing room. The singer-songwriters co-write most of their songs. Beathard is the son of Nashville hit songwriter Casey Beathard (Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, George Strait), and Hurd has written songs for the likes of Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton.

Beathard will represent country music when he plays the 2017 Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago in August. He is the only country act on the bill. In an interview with Taste of Country Nights last year, he said he turned to music as a way to express himself.

“I always played drums my whole life, first. I played drums on my EP. I play drums on everything I record because I’m really picky about the drums,” Beathard admits. “I was in bands and wanted to let some stuff off my chest ‘cause I don’t really like talking about feelings. So I was like, ‘I’m going to pick up a guitar and start putting my fingers for something that sounds good and start writing.'"

Hurd is on the road, too, playing on the Hero Tour with Maren Morris and Florida Georgia Line's Smooth Tour.
