It's time to start thinking about Valentine's Day and the Father-Daughter dances that are happening in February.

I stopped into Schafer's Flowers on Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo this week and spoke with owners Charlie and Linda Schafer about the upcoming Valentine's holiday. I asked about what flowers are the best sellers, unique gift ideas and even the best tips to make your flowers last longer.

Not only did we talk about Valentines day but I was reminded that there are a lot of father-daughter dances happening at area schools this month. I got to see how they make a corsage, see and smell lots of flowers and gifts as well as some tips on how to help make your arrangements last longer. Who knew you could use sugar?
