No, this isn't one of those "'The Walking Dead' will be filmed in Schoolcraft" stories, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has bought a home in Michigan. While Tony is from California, his wife is a Detroit native who wanted a place back home.
The Detroit Free Press reports the property is in Detroit's Woodbridge area. The castle-like building was once a mansion, then a hospital and a now divided into 3 apartments.
Although the family will not be moving to Michigan on a full-time basis, they plan to stay in the building when they visit family.
Do you think they will put up a half-pipe in the backyard?
