The Biggest Turtle in Galesburg!

I was running, but I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this on the trail.

I started my evening run on Wednesday at the Comstock Library and headed East to Galesburg on the newest leg of the Kalamazoo Valley River Trail.

On the way, I saw the biggest turtle I've ever encountered in the wild!

This guy was right next to the path, and I nearly stepped on him. (I've got to start paying more attention to my surroundings.)
