Get the real thing, "Grade-A, uncut" maple syrup on Saturday at Michigan State University's W. K. Kellogg Biological Station's Maple Syrup Open House from noon-5pm.

Admission is $1; free for children ages 2 and under.

Kellogg Forest, 7060 N. 42^nd Street, Augusta.

Enjoy a wagon ride in the sugar bush and guided tours of 'Maple Manor.' The kids will enjoy face painting and have the chance to create tree cookie medallions and play traditional games.

Taste maple syrup made right at Kellogg Forest and purchase some to take home.

Get outdoors on Saturday and enjoy the open house the be sure to watch 'Battle Creek' Sundays at 10 on CBS.
