Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is considering adding body cameras to police officers' equipment.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is evaluating the idea of having officers wear body cameras and are asking for citizen input on the issue.
"The department wants input from the community to help create a policy to govern the use and management of the cameras and video data," according to WWMT.com.
The policy is only in draft form right now no official decision has been made.
