Your admission also gets you one entry into one of the many tournaments. There will also be unique vendors and even an auction.

Of course, the main draw is the silver ball.

If, like me, you grew up playing pinball, you will find many of your old favorites at this show and many of them for sale!

Some kids remember their dad showing them how to throw a curve ball in the backyard, I remember mine teaching me how to finesse Elton John's Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy pinball machine just enough so you didn't tilt it.

I may have missed class (sorry Mom) in high school because I was trying to save the girl in Creature from the Black Lagoon.

At Pinball Pete's in East Lansing, I learned all the dialogue from Pinbot and Taxi and still have to drop a quarter (or two) in Hercules every time I go to Cedar Point.

You can have your home video consoles, give me a pair of flippers and a stack of quarters any day.

Look for "BG" on the high score this weekend, and I'll see you at Pinball at the Zoo!
