One Foot in Front of the Other
One day at a time.
Did you see the story of Jon Sutherland? He just set a record for running at least a mile a day for 16,438 days...and counting! That's over 45 years and 190,715 miles, putting one foot in front of the other, one day at a time.
I've met people like this and they'll tell you they're not that special, just dedicated. Commitment, patience and persistence pay off.
People are sometimes impressed that I run marathons...all it takes is training. And shoes...lots of shoes.
Feeling inspired by Jon's story? You don't have to do it all at once or start at a record pace, but you've got to start somewhere. Grab a pair of old shoes an join us for a little over 3 miles for The Cowboy Trail Run this Sunday at 9.
