Heritage guitars have been produced in the old Gibson Guitar Building since 1985. Now, there are new owners, will there be new changes? According to MLive, a group of investors has bought Heritage guitars and the accompanying building in Kalamazoo that once produced the legendary Gibson Guitars. Gibson moved to Tennessee in 1984 but some of the employees stayed behind to start up Heritage in '85. the new owners stated in a press release,

Since 1985, Heritage Guitar has been handcrafting some of the finest musical instruments in the world, carrying on the Kalamazoo tradition started nearly a century ago.  Jim Deurloo, Marv Lamb, and Bill Paige, current owners and longstanding craftsmen at the 225 Parsons Street location under both the Gibson and Heritage brands€“ are thrilled about the new investment in the company and what it means for the future. All three men plan to stay active in the business.

As I look at the MLive article, I can't help but notice the photo of the new owners and investors standing around a mud puddle. Is this an Omen for things to come?
