NASCAR Chase Picks 2016- Gina and Bobby Predict the Winners and First Losers

BG: I bet I know what you're going to say about this guy...

Gina: I don't want to talk about this guy.

BG: Are you telling me the defending Sprint Cup Champion doesn't have a shot?

Gina: I don't want to talk about it.

Gina: The #2 is in the #2 spot which also makes me think of another "number 2..."

BG: I'm not a fan but I wouldn't bet against Bad Brad to be a contender all the way to Homestead.

BG: It's Denny time! (No, not really.)

Gina: I think he's going to do well. He's got momentum coming into the chase and could win it all.

Gina: First loser!

BG: Didn't his wife Delana tweet that last week after he finished 2nd again?

Gina: Of course I'm picking Harvick to finish 2nd in the points.

BG: I'm surprised to see him so high on the list, he kind of seemed like a sleeper this year.

Gina: Me too. He could be the dark horse.

Gina: Martin Truex Jr. has had a breakout year so far in 2016.

BG: Furniture Row made a good run last season and they are even stronger this year. Does he move up to the A class of drivers?

Gina: Things are going his way. This might be his year!

Bobby: Matt's win at New Hampshire got him into the Chase but I don't see him staying there past Martinsville.

Gina: I'm over here bored to death about Matt Kenseth.

BG: Tell me you're not picking Jimmie because you can't pick Jeff Gordon.

Gina: Well, I might.

BG: Only 2 wins going into the chase.

Gina: Isn't it funny how we say "only 2" because it's Jimmy. Not quite up to speed this year so I'm picking him to make it to 8 but not the final four cut.

BG: This is your man, right? You've met Joey.

Gina: I did! He's a nice kid. Not on the track- he doesn't have very many friends out there.

BG: Do you think his dad will help him win it?

Gina: Daddy!

Gina: Dale Jr. being out at Michigan paved the way to victory lane for Kyle Larson.

BG: It's an honor to be nominated.

Gina: He's been having a streak lately.

BG: You're calling that a streak?

Gina: Who told you Dale Jr. was done for the season?

BG: Sure, it would be nice to see Uncle Tony win one in his final season but don't count on it.

Gina: Grumpy old man. He's just settling scores before he leaves. He might have an impact on the chase.

BG: All smoke, but the fire is out.

BG: Is Kurt not as bad as Kyle or is your hate for the Busch boys equal?

Gina: I actually hate Kurt Busch more.

BG: So no love for his chances in the chase?

Gina: I was told if you can't say anything nice...

BG: Did I spell his name right?

Gina: B-u-s...no, wait...

BG: NEXT!

Gina: He's happy to be nominated.

Gina: 7 Top 5 and 13 top 10 finishes finishes got Chase here. He's been consistently good and should see him through Phoenix.

BG: I'm not sure he's ready for this kind of pressure. I think he's in the chase but he'll be Chase out soon.

BG: Did grandpa Childress get him in? Did I miss a last-minute NASCAR rule change or did Austin Dillon really earn a spot in the Chase?

Gina: #3 is back but not for long.

BG: The final driver to race his way into the 2016 chase.
