Michigan Man Joins Team Blake on The Voice

Traverse City's Joshua Davis got the attention of Blake Shelton and Adam Levine on Monday's episode of The Voice.
Adam buzzed in at 4.2 seconds, just beating Blake, as Joshua Davis began to sing The Band's "I Shall Be Released" on the first episode of The Voice: Season 8.
Blake Shelton told Josh, "Adam wants you on his team so you can help him. I want you on my team so I can help you."
A Michigan native, Joshua is no amateur musician. You may know him as the frontman from the popular Michigan band Steppin' In It.
And according to his Facebook biography, Joshua has performed live on the internationally syndicated programs Mountain Stage, Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour and Backstage Pass. His songs have been featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered, Folk Alley and The Mix and he has played scores of prestigious festivals and venues not to mention every festival Michigan has to offer.
