Maren Morris Extends Hero Tour Into Fall 2017
Maren Morris is expanding her first-ever headlining tour, the Hero Tour. The rising star has announced 10 additional dates for the trek, scheduled for the fall of 2017.
From October 5-28, Morris will be visiting cities across the Midwest and Southeast. The second leg of the Hero Tour will also feature Ryan Hurd, Morris' boyfriend, as her opening act. A complete list of newly announced stops is below.
Tickets for the fall leg of Morris' Hero Tour go on sale May 5 at 10AM local time. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales are being donated to The Heroes Fund, which benefits fine arts programs and music education in public schools. VIP experiences, which include a meet and greet opportunity, signed poster, early entry and VIP merchandise, will be available for purchase as well.
Modern Country Music's Female Trailblazers
Morris recently selected her third single, "I Could Use a Love Song," from her freshman album, Hero. In addition to her own headlining tour, Morris will also be joining Sam Hunt on the road this summer, for his 15 in a 30 Tour.
“I’ve been a fan of Sam’s since the beginning,” Morris tells The Boot. “He just puts on a really bada– show. I love people who blaze their own trail and don’t sound like a carbon copy of someone else … I’m excited to be out on the road with him.”
