    Bethelhem Journey

    December 1-3, hours vary

    First Reformed Church of Portage, 7905 S. Westnedge in Portage, offers a theatrical reenactment of Mary and Joseph's trip to Bethlehem to give birth to the baby Jesus. The play is mostly indoors, culminating in an outdoor nativity scene.

    Journey to the Manger

    December 8-11, 6 p.m.- 8 or 9 p.m.

    Lighthouse on 11th, 4321 S. 11th Street has a guided trail pilgrimage with shepherds, live camels, a petting zoo and live Christmas music.

    Live Nativity at Henderson Castle

    December 18, 6-9 p.m.

    For one night each year, the magic of Christmas comes to Kalamazoo's Henderson Castle, 100 Monroe Street.
