Brennley Brown and Lauren Duski teamed up for a fitting duet of Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings' " Good Hearted Woman" during The Voice Season 12 Semifinals on Monday night (May 15).

In between individual performances by the contestants, the show paired singers together to perform various duets, and country music shined when Duski and Brown joined forces on the spirited number. The girls were seated on stools for the performance, which gave it a low-key, traditional feel.

Brown kicked things off and was soon followed by Duski, joining her on the second half of the first verse before they shared the chorus. Their unique voices were a solid match for "Good Hearted Woman," fitting their vocal ranges naturally. Duski stepped out of her ballad comfort zone for the sassy tune, which found the song singers holding their own in unison. They shared a natural chemistry and effortlessly pulled off the song as Blake Shelton sang along in the crowd. They closed out the performance strong by joining together for the final notes, as Brown's coach Gwen Stefani rose to her feet in support.

This isn't the first time the two have sung together on The Voice. They went head-to-head during the Battle Rounds with Little Big Town's "Better Man." In spite of the competitive aspect, the two young singers are good friends, with Duski calling 15-year-old Brown an "old soul" and Brown citing Duski as her "big sister," whom she's learned a lot from during their run on the show.

Duski entered the Top 8 showcase with a cover of "Ghost in This House," while Brown showed off a new side of her personality when she took the stage for a performance of the Sara Evans hit "Suds in the Bucket." The two find out if they've made it to the Season 12 finale on Tuesday (May 16).
