At the top of his game, Jason Isbell put on another incredible concert; this one at DeVos in Grand Rapids.

Renowned singer-songwriter and Grammy-winner Jason Isbell has come into his own as a rock star.

I was a fan before the show on Monday (October 3). In fact, I've seen Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit four different times now during a 2-album cycle. Southeastern and Something More Than Free are incredible records.

I saw this very same tour in Chicago in February. I eagerly bought tickets knowing he may well be playing the exact same songs in the exact same order in Grand Rapids. Past experiences at his shows have led me to believe that the night would be magical.

I was not disappointed.
