The justice of the peace fought back against an uncooperative defendant in a Jackson, Michigan courtroom.

You expect to see a bench-clearing brawl in a hockey game, not a courtroom.

Judge John McBain was facing a defendant who didn't like the 45 day sentence he received for a personal protection order violation. It seems these two have a history together as his honor upped the sentence to 93 days after Jacob Larson directed an expletive toward the bench. "You want to go for a year?" taunted Judge McBain, "try it right now."

Larson was then uncooperative as the bailiff tried to get him into handcuffs, promoting McBain to shed his judicial robe like a boxer and jump into the fracas shouting "tase his ass right now!"

The defendant was subdued and sent to jail, but it will not be his last appearance in Judge McBain's courtroom. Watch the video of the action above and read more about the story on MLive.
