Endangered Wolves Find New Home at Battle Creek’s Binder Park Zoo

The dream of a 6th grader from Plainwell, Michigan has been realized as Binder Park Zoo welcomes 2 Mexican gray wolves to Battle Creek.
Mackenzie Couch is a 12 year old aspiring zoologist who decided to forego asking for Christmas presents this year in order to raise funds to bring Mexican wolves to Binder Park Zoo. Her campaign was a success and the 2 1/2 year-old wolf brothers will be introduced to the public at the opening of Zoo Lights on December 16 when the vistors will also have the opportunity to vote on names for the pair.
