I checked "drive-in movie" off my summer "to do" list.

Memorial Day weekend was the perfect time to hit the drive-in movie theater!

Did you know we still had one in Michigan? The Capri Drive-In of Coldwater is one of only seven left in the state of Michigan.

At the Capri, the kids still play on the grass in front of the screen while waiting for the sun to go down.

And as you can tell by the picture above, they always begin the show with our national anthem.

The snack bar is still a staple, but the tinny speakers that attach to the cars are long gone.

You listen to the movie on your car stereo...as loud as you like!

Double features are still a thing, meaning you can see two first-run movies for one price!

We saw 'Tomorrowland' and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron.'

I'd previously seen the Avengers movie, but the heroes were unbelievable on the outdoor screen towering over traffic.

'Tomorrowland' was an incredible fantasy, especially that part about Tim McGraw being a NASA engineer.

We weren't the only ones at the theater, the place was packed!

Open seven days a week starting Friday, May 29, there's time to make the Capri Drive-In a part of your summer fun!
