Not everybody knows this but Colon, Michigan is the Magic Capital of the world. Home to just over 1,100 people this was where the first 'rabbit out of a hat' trick was accomplished as well as it's the final resting place to over 30 former magicians. But even the keenest of magicians couldn't pull off a trick like this.

Over the weekend the town of Colon, Michigan also faced hardships, as the thaw led to Palmer Lake flooding the area down by the water and showed an unbelievable rise. Local resident, Scott Andrews was preparing for the inevitable. The water eventually rose and over flooded the house he resides in. But even in times of stress, humor found its way into his house.

He captured this picture of just how high the water has risen, coming over his windows that sit two feet above ground level. But then he noticed he had a friend swimming in his window.

A little pike made its way out of the river and was seen swimming through the window of his house. Then, as if it were a sign from above as he was pumping water out of the house, the hose resembled a bouquet of flooded junk with a "sorry" card attached to it.

Just goes to show you there are some things magic can't pull off. Here's hoping the town makes a quick recovery.
