Not sure what to do for Valentines day? Does your loved one enjoy the outdoors and fishing? Have I got the thing for you.The Michigan DNR has set February 13th and 14th as a free fishing weekend. This is something that the state does twice a year. The 2016 Free Fishing Weekends are scheduled for this winter: February 13 & 14 and this summer: June 11 & 12.

According to the DNR's web site:

All fishing license fees will be waived for two days. Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on both inland and Great Lakes' waters for all species of fish. All fishing regulations will still apply.
