Your answer would be different if you were of the opposite sex.

According to the Mayo Clinic, "Seasonal affective disorder (S.A.D.) is a type of depression that's related to change in seasons," and it affects 50% more women than men according to a new study.

Many more women than men find it harder to get up and get motivated this time of year and tend to cope by comfort eating.

So, if you find yourself irritable or grumpy, tired even though you've had a full night's seep, eating more than you care to and sitting lifeless in front of the television, don't be S.A.D.

Exercise, melatonin or just plain sunshine can all help alleviate the symptoms, according to Web MD.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet or hear on the radio, though...get out there and try it for yourself!
