It's not as catchy as "The Joe" but no one should be surprised that the Detroit Red Wings' new rink will be called Little Caesar's Arena.

Team owner Mike Illich is the founder of Little Caesar's Pizza and has owned the Detroit Red Wings since 1982 and bought the Detroit Tigers a decade later.

The naming rights are part of a 20 year $125 million deal with the arena opening for the start of the 2017-2018 National Hockey League season,

The new venue will host not only home games for the Wings but concerts, entertainment, family shows and community events, according to Olympia Entertainment.
