The power went out to over 4500 people Sunday in Muskegon. Officials determined it was the result of a bird flying into a transformer.

And thanks to this alert driver, we get to see the exact moment it happened.

I suppose this video shouldn't be funny, but it is.

A Muskegon man identified by FOX 17 News as Willard Hill happened to have his dash cam on when the incident happened.

A pretty good size goose hit the transformer, causing a flash and then a dead goose dropping just to the left of Hill's vehicle.

The incident happened on Apple Avenue (M-46) near Creston at around 6:30 Sunday morning.

Hill originally posted the bird death on Facebook, where it got over 40,000 views. It has since made it's way to YouTube.
