Ty Herndon is set to present his second Concert for Love and Acceptance on June 8, during the 2017 CMA Music Festival. The event will take place at the Wildhorse Saloon.

The 2017 Concert for Love and Acceptance will feature CMT Top 20 Countdown host Cody Alan as the evening's emcee; performers will be announced soon. The show champions LGBTQ rights and will benefit at-risk youth in Music City, a cause about which Herndon is particularly passionate. The singer hopes that proceeds from the event will "foster positive cultural change and encourage Nashville’s youth to live to their fullest potential” (quote via Taste of Country).

“I’m very excited to announce our second Concert for Love and Acceptance. We had so much fun the first time that we had to do it again,” Herndon says in a press release. “We have some amazing artists and celebrities that are coming together to celebrate love and acceptance in Nashville, and we want to be a shining beacon to the rest of this world we are living in.”

Performers at the inaugural Concert for Love and Acceptance in 2015 included Billy Gilman, Chris Carmack, Crystal Gayle, Levi Hummon, Meghan Linsey and others. Herndon and Gilman both publicly came out as gay on the same day in 2014; 2017 concert host Alan came out in late 2016.
