Mark Wallace is turning wood from abandoned Detroit buildings and houses into one of a kind guitars. What everyone else sees as trash, he sees as treasure.

From the burnt out, abandoned, and decaying rubble of Detroit, Mark Wallace, owner of Wallace Detroit Guitars, is finding beauty in the chaos and reclaiming some of Detroit's History. The company's website story said,

In 2014, Mark Wallace founded Wallace Detroit Guitars to literally build guitars from Detroit history. We use reclaimed wood from Detroit buildings to build fine guitars that continue Detroit’s proud tradition of making good things, and great music.

With all of the financial troubles that Detroit has seen in the last few years, it is nice to see some success as well.
