The Detroit Tigers beat the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of a three game series, Wednesday evening.

Tyler Collins hit the first of two homers in the second inning as the Tigers scored twice to take a 2-1 lead.

Baltimore took a 3-2 lead in the fourth against Tigers' starter Michael Fulmer.  Welington Castillo singled to center, bringing in Mark Trumbo. Trey Mancini sacrificed to right field with Jonathan Schoop crossing home plate.  They added a run in the 5th, but Collins hit a three run homer in the Tigers' half of the inning to make it 5-4 Tigers.

 

Michael Fulmer went seven innings, giving up four runs, three earned.  He improves to 5-1 on the season.  Alex Wilson pitched a perfect 8th and Justin Wilson pitched out of trouble in the 9th  for his third save.

The two teams will end the series Thursday afternoon, coverage begins at 12:45 PM on 95.3 WBCK.
