
Tigers Beat Angels In Game Two
The Detroit Tigers beat the Los Angeles Angels 4-0, in game two of a three game series, Wednesday evening.
Buck Farmer made an impressive debut in his first game since being recalled, Tuesday evening, from Triple-A-Toledo. He kept the Angels scoreless up to when he was relieved by Alex Wilson in the 7th inning. The Tigers put a run on the board in the 3rd inning, when Victor Martinez grounded into a double play, bringing Ian Kinsler in to score.
The scoreboard remained at 1-0 until the bottom of the 8th when Justin Upton hit a home run to left-field, bringing Dixon Machado and J.D. Martinez home and making it a 4-0 game.
Justin Wilson closed the game, keeping the Angels off the board, keeping it a 4-0 game and splitting the series 1-1.
The two teams will face each other Thursday afternoon. Coverage begins at 12:45 PM on 95.3 WBCK.
