Thomas Rhett was looking sharp in an all-black getup while standing next to his wife Lauren -- dressed in a gorgeous sequined gown -- on the red carpet of the 2017 ACM Awards. The at-the-time soon-to-be crowned Male Vocalist of the Year celebrated his soon-to-be-fatherhood by looking dapper next to his stunning wife. Click through the photo gallery above to see some pictures of the couple on the red carpet, as they proudly showed off Lauren's adorable baby bump.

Along with his surprise win for Male Vocalist of the Year (even he was betting on Chris Stapleton!), Rhett also took home the ACM for Song of the Year, for "Die a Happy Man," which was actually penned with his wife in mind.

"I think the reason it translated so much is because every single line in the song is directly personal to our relationship and our marriage," Rhett has said about the song. "I think my fans looked at that and saw it as very genuine, which it was, and I think that’s the reason it was so successful. It was one of the most fun songs I ever got to write."

Rhett and Lauren better soak up all their free time while they still can: The couple will welcome not one, but two new babies this year! Strong supporters of the charity 147 Million Orphans, the singer and his wife had already begun the process of adopting a baby from Africa when, months later, they found out that Lauren was pregnant. After recovering from what Lauren recalls as "complete and utter shock," they're taking their impending dual parenthood in stride, and celebrating the fact that they'll soon be a family of four!

Rhett is currently on the road for his 2017 Home Team Tour.
