Two of the greatest Detroit Tigers of the past 40 years were finally voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Jack Morris and Alan Trammell were selected today by the Modern Era Committee.
The season has only been finished for a few weeks. With next season already on the horizon, the Tigers have recently unveiled their full spring season schedule for 2018.
This is not like P.J. Fleck. I don't think any Detroit Tiger fan feels jilted. Justin Verlander finally got the ring. (And may have another ring as early as this weekend. Stay tuned)
Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker and Jack Morris all had Hall Of Fame worthy careers. None of them ever were voted in by the writers, but they could could be considered on a vote in December.
The 2017 World Series features the Los Angeles Dodgers and The Houston Astros. The series will see a few former Detroit Tigers featured through out the games.
