I have been a hockey fan for a long time; here's more proof that these are not only great athletes, but great people.

Goalie Patrick O'Brien had his biggest save before the game even started.

The Gander Flyers goaltender and part-time paramedic was called out of the locker room to assist a fan undergoing a heart attack.
