Peace, Love and Little Donuts is opening soon on South Westnedge in Portage- here's what you need to know.

We spoke with Brody, the proprietor of Peace, Love and Little Donuts and he gave us the inside scoop on what you will see when this 1970's themed gourmet donut shop opens at 6043 S. Westnedge in Portage.

  • First, the cakes: Donuts are made throughout the day and are always fresh; never served on the following day. The Peace crew will top the donuts right in front of you- choose from more than 45 "groovy," "far out" and "funkadelic" delights.
  • Next, the coffee: You won't find an iced coffee or a double-whipped caramel, half-caff shot of espresso but you will be able to get a nice mug of gourmet joe to go with your pastries.
  • The theme, as I'm sure you've guessed by now is the groovy decade of the 1970's. You'll find tie-dye, peace signs and the age of Aquarius motif throughout the store.
