Old Automotive Paint Becomes A Custom Jewelers Dream

Automobiles used to be hand sprayed in the Ford Factory leaving large buildups of paint on the assembly line. Now, Jewelry makers have taken a shining to what they are calling 'Fordite". I see old clumps of paint and to me it is just a mess, these creative people saw something different. Fordite, as it is called, was chiseled from the floor of the old Ford paint line to be disposed of. Some people found it to be a great medium for making jewelry. check out these videos.
