More Development Coming To West Main and US-131 in Kalamazoo

Oshtemo Township has just approved a multi-million dollar project that will bring new business to the area.

More big box stores, restaurants, hotels and national retailers are on the way as a new development at West Main and US-131 was just greenlighted by Oshtemo Township.

The project is known as Westgate and the time frame is 5-10 years to see full development of what is now a wooded area behind T.G.I.Fridays- North of West Main and East of US-131.

AVB Incorporated, the developer that engineered Costco and Field & Stream will head up the project with construction set to begin in the Spring of 2017.
