Minnesota Media Discusses Their New Head Football Coach PJ Fleck and Who They Wished Got the Job
The new head football coach at the University of Minnesota, former WMU Bronco PJ Fleck, was the big news story for media in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Watch these WCCO personalities discuss who they wish has gotten the job.
WCCO radio's Chad Hartman was hoping the Golden Gophers vacant head coaching position would be filled by former LSU head coach Les Miles, wanting to see a more battle tested veteran in the role rather than the "up and coming" PJ Fleck.
Hartman also speculates that the Fleck-to-Minnesota deal was likely set before the school fired their previous coach and a meeting Minnesota had with Les Miles was just done to put pressure on Fleck to sign.
