It was muscle cars last weekend with the street rods in Kalamazoo, this weekend, just look for the muscle as the Michigan State Armwrestling Championships will be held on Saturday at the Holiday Inn.

Michigan Arms is bringing professionals to town and spectators will see Matt Bourdon vs Ben Smith, Quinlan Mandez vs Josh Bishop and Josh Koening vs Daniel Blanchard in 3 "super matches."

There is also a novice division and anyone can step up to the table. Of course there will be a lot of testosterone as the men compete but women athletes will be there and there is also a teen division.

Competitors are classified by age and weight with trophies awarded in many different classes. Entry fee is $25 first class, $15 each additional class with a free t-shirt to the first 50 contestants to weigh in.
