"I Don't Dance" won Lee Brice the Academy of Country Music Award for "Song of the Year" in 2014 and has been played as the first dance song at weddings around the country. Long before that, before "Love Like Crazy" and "Hard To Love" Lee wrote a song called "More Than A Memory" that he was ready to record. Then Garth Brooks called.

That changed everything.

Not only was it the first single in the history of the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart to debut at #1, it got Lee a record deal in Nashville, according to his official website. "'More Than A Memory' was a very personal song for me," Lee says. "I was thinking about keeping it for myself when Garth Brooks called, and that changed the whole dynamic." Then he started collecting the awards. "I Drive Your Truck," won Song of the Year at both the CMA and ACM Awards in 2009.

Hear Lee Brice perform all of his hits as the "Life Off My Years" tour comes to Kalamazoo's Wings Event Center on April 8. Tyler Farr was originally scheduled for the tour but had to pull out due to vocal surgery so we get to see Maddie & Tae sing "Girl in a Country Song" and "Shut Up and Fish."

Purchase tickets online, via phone (800.745.3000), or at the ticket office at Wings Event Center, 3600 Vanrick Dr., Kalamazoo.
