Lakeview School District Closed After Bomb Threat Tuesday

Lakeview School District students are being sent home Tuesday, November 15 after a bomb threat was made.

In a message sent to parents, the school district says that a threat was made against the Middle School in Battle Creek Tuesday morning. As a result, the district decided to cancel classes.

The Battle Creek Police Department says they are investigating.

A threat made on Facebook in March of this year shut down Lakeview Schools as well. That incident didn't turn up anything suspicious.
