On October 31, 2015, tires were slashed on ten different vehicles located in various parking ramps downtown Kalamazoo.

Surveillance footage quickly identified the suspects. Two turned themselves in and a third was identified.

Now, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety reports Wesley Jasper Boniface, the third person of interest, has been collared.

Presently, police are awaiting estimates from the victims in this crime. Once they receive all the necessary documents, the case will be presented to the Prosecutor’s office with the request of malicious destruction of property charges. Depending on the dollar amount, it could be a 5 year felony or 10 year felony.

Kalamazoo Public safety thanks the public for sending information regarding where Mr. Boniface could be. They received many, many tips.
