The 5th annual Kalamazoo Mud Run is June 11 at Kalamazoo Community Church, 2435 N. 26th Street, Kalamazoo.

There are several events to choose from:

  • Solo Competitive Mud Run
  • Fun Mud Run- solo or team
  • Kids Fun Mud Run
  • 5k Trail Run (no mud)

Not your typical 5k run down Main Street, this challenging course pits you against man-made obstacles and the best (worst?) Mother Nature has to offer. The combination of earth and water will leave you fighting for air as you fly through the woods, wade through the mud and conquer whatever obstruction stands in your way.

Another unique aspect of this race is the cause. The slogan is "get dirty for clean water" and Kalamazoo Community Church's mission is to use monies raised from the event to drill wells Kaliro, Uganda, to get clean drinking water to residents.

Be assured, that is the only clean thing about this race. You will get dirty and you will have fun at the Kalamazoo Mud Run!
