I've lived in Michigan my entire life, and I've never once seen a blue STOP sign (at least not that I can remember), but that doesn't mean they're not out there. While they’re rare, blue STOP signs have been spotted in a few places. So what’s the deal with these oddball signs?
Why Would You See a Blue STOP Sign in Michigan?
I recently saw a conversation on social media where someone said they had seen a blue STOP sign and wondered what they should do. Well, first off, if you can read, you should probably do what the sign says… stop.

There is one place where I've seen blue STOP signs, and that’s Hawaii, where they’re a little more common than here in this part of the country.
The next time you come across a blue STOP sign, it means you're entering private property or you're in Hawaii.
