
Heads Up: Major Changes Coming to Michigan Dollar Trees
If you're planning on heading to Dollar Tree, you should be aware that they are planning a change in their operations.

They've already gone through a minor update from their $1 pricing to $1.25. That model is going to experience yet another price increase on its items.
Heads Up: Major Changes Coming to Michigan Dollar Trees
There will be a couple of brand-new items introduced at Dollar Tree stores, with some items priced as high as $7 each.

With that too, they will be introducing multiple new store models that will soon be rolled out.
The models feature the following:
1.0 Model: Keeps the majority of items at $1.25.
2.0 Model (The Valley): Features a dedicated section where higher priced items are concentrated.
3.0 Model: Offers a broad multi-price assortment throughout the store.
This is intended to help offset the rising prices on some of their products, while also keeping money flowing into the stores.
That being said, you can expect at least 1,000 stores nationwide to close their doors in the coming years. They will focus on keeping stores open in larger markets where there are more consumers, ensuring they remain in a competitive market.
On top of that, Dollar Tree will be selling off their Family Dollar stores, which they acquired about eight years ago and have been costing them more money to operate in these current times.
